Northland/Coliseum Site

The former Coliseum site is a $235 million concept plan which calls for 1 million sf (40,000 retail, 80,000 office). It will create over 1,000 construction jobs and 500 permanent jobs when complete and millions in new tax revenue. There will be 450-550 residential units, a mixture of for sale and rental with the architects and developers using green and efficient energy practices for a long term sustainable development. The project will weave together the Ninth Square, Gateway Community College, the corporate and commercial operations of the Knights of Columbus and relocation of the Long wharf Theatre.
